Hi y'all... It's almost the weekend :D and for that I am so excited!!!! Anyhow, a couple of you have reached out to me about what make up I use, and ever since I started wearing make-up I've been very simple. I don't use too much, nor do I wear make up often I sort of just throw it on the way it works for me and call it a day! TODAY, I'm sharing my daily make-up essentials the tools I use to make feel sassy, beautiful, and camera ready! 📸


After a washed, clean, and moisturized face (working on my skin care routine coming at ya soon) I first put My RIMMEL primer, let it settle and use my fingers, or even a brush/sponge to put on my STAY MATTE liquid mousse foundation (I LOVE IT SO MUCH SO AFFORDABLE Ps. I only use it for special occasions or to cover acne :P)

Once it has dried I grab my powder brush and tap on my MAC Studio fix on my face, I cover everything eyes, neck, forehead, cheeks, and I put just a tad on my nose but not too much because I LOVE when you can see my freckles :P (I only use my MAC for special occasions any other day you can find me wearing my NEUTROGENA SKINCLEARING MINERAL POWDER it works wonders and is so light weight!)

I then use my 3 in one COVERGIRL Trublend serving sculpt palette to put on bronzer, on my lower cheeks, forehead, and basically all around the edges of my face, even some on my nose.
I go ahead and add some blush on my cheeks, and highlight on the bones of my cheeks, a little on the tip of my nose, and lip!

Once I am done, since I don't use too much eye makeup I use the L'OREAL PARIS COLOUR RICHE LA PALETTE NUDE EYE SHADOW to give my eyes some sparkle and shape if need be. I then go ahead and fill in my eyebrows natural shape with either the E.L.F. INSTANT LIFT EYEBROW PENCIL or REVLON COLOR STAY BROW PENCIL I love them both :p I use the elf for a casual day and the REVLON for the days where I gotta look like a 10/10 today :D HAHAHA.

Finishing touch, I Curl my eyelashes with MAYBELLINE EYELASH CURLER once they look the way I want them to I got in with my L'OREAL PARIS VOLUMINOUS PRIMER (YA'LL this is the best I am obsessed with it! SO when you put it on only put it on one eye work with your lashes and instantly put on L'oreal mascara while it's wet for better results! After I put on 1 coat of this mascara I use MAYBELLINE SENSATIONAL MASCARA to add more volume as my second coat!
Once it dries a little I use my fingers as an eyelash curler and I'll press my lashes up against my eyelids for an even more curled look!(I noticed if I don't do this my lashes will eventually just droop down) :p

AHHHH, the end! I top it off with lipstick of course! My current favorite right now its the MILANI AMORE MATTES LIP CRÈME I love every color BUT PRECIOUS is my favorite shade! I'm OBSESSED!

Hi there! As many of you know besides being a lifestyle blogger, I am also a self taught photographer. Lately, I've gotten a lot of questions asked about how to prepare for a photo shoot.
Let's say as human we always end up forgetting one thing or another, but this my friend will help you prepare so that you don't!

   Once you have your photographer discuss details such as location(s), time, any recommendations to help you be on your A game!

   Look at the location (chose a location) You can look through Instagram images, Facebook, and good old google to search the location in search of others who may have taken photos in the smae location. I find this best when preparing for shoots because I can get outfit inspiration as well as see the colors of the area. It also helps when talking with a photographer! Who is picking the location? The photographer or you? It matters because YOU matter!

 Once you know the location you will be at it's time to Pick your outfit(s) what colors go best? what colors should you stay away from? It might be something you don't naturally think about but it's so important! You never want to be caught up in an orange room wearing a blue sweater do you? NAAA you don't! You want the color you are wearing to fit best as possible with the location so that YOU don't look out of place! I love neutrals for places that look rustic, pop of color if i'm going somewhere with dark colors, flowy dresses for open land shots, and the list goes on! Shoes aren't too big of a deal but it's still good to get them ready along with your outfits! I recommend you have your outfits ironed an packed up in a suit case with your jewelry and shoes & I suggest you have outfits picked out a week prior! TRY IT ON! This helps so much when it comes to putting pieces together and truly feeling your sexy self before going out to shoot! You can even practice poses in the mirror :p PS. Wear the correct color/style of undergarments
 Should you dress up? causal? sporty? Well remember that this is your photoshoot! You are the one paying! If you know you are going to wear a fancy gown, make sure you give that information to your photographer so they are prepared with the best location possible ALSO don't be afraid to say hey, this is the dress I am going to wear, and I thought this location would be nice, what are your thoughts? I as a photographer LOVE when my clients let me know their ideas and send me inspired photos so it helps me get a better understanding of what they would like to get from our shoot together. Maybe you are doing multiple outfit and locations! Make sure this is discussed when picking a package with your photographer don't just arrive and assume you can do anything! That's a big no no!

Once you have the time, date, location(s), and outfit(s) ready it's time to prep yourself!!




Yellow teeth? No problem! I have don't like having yellow stains either and I'm not the biggest fan of whitening teeth because you never want it to look FAKE ya know?
I just head over to my local target and buy CREST 3D WHITE WHITESTRIPS ooo friend these are life savers! I will use them for a week straight before my photoshoots to be looking flawsy!
(After that I recommend using them every 2-3 days just to maintain the whiteness of your teeth but to also protect your gums from getting too sensitive)

DON'T POP the PIMPLE!
Trust me... the worst thing you can do it pop your pimple before a photoshoot! I know they suck trust me I get them all the time but have learned with experience that it's much easier to cover a pimple than to cover the bloody pimple that turns into a weird scab that it hard to cover! Leave it alone a move on! DO however exfoliate and moisturize your skin so your makeup goes on nice and smooth!

Wax them eyebrows! 
Editing is fun... but no photographer wants to edit your eyebrows for free... up charge that cause it can take forever!

HAIR
Get your trim, roots colored, deep conditioned, and style it in your favorite way! (Unless you have someone doing it for you) I recommend you don't try anything new because if you don't like it... it may be hard to feel yourself during the shoot!

Hands & feet
paint your nails clear if you feel that they are going to chip, get them done, or buy stick ons they are my fav! You can shop them on Amazon, Target, wal-mart in store, ULTA, and many more places! I love them because I stick them in from the comfort of my own home and just take the left overs with me incase any nail falls I have an immediate replacement!

 What to do, what to do

1. Dancing
Not your typical lets go to the club and dance no no I literally mean book a dance class and go learn how to tango, salsa, anything you want really :D

2. Ice skating
I wish I could do this... I mean I can but I fall every time :p this is the best "I have to hold on to you so I don't fall" moment :p

3. Scavenger hunt
You pick if you want to do this only with your boo or even other couples! You can create fun challenges even have sexy prizes ya know?

4. Cook together at home
Sometimes valentine's day is so crazy that maybe a night in where you plan on cooking and baking together could turn out to be the best date night. You can of course still dress up and even create your own photo booth to take pictures!(You can get a tripod for your camera here if you already own one!)

 5. Take a workout class
You have to keep looking good am I right? Grab your boo and take a class together! After you can grab a snack and get ready for date night!




6. LALALA SING!
Karaoke nights are always so much fun, pick your favorite song and sing together or dedicate a song to your love!

7. Pop open a bottle of wine and get to know you boo a little more with 36 deep questions

8. Watch the sunset
Find a spot for just you two... or just block out the people around you bring a bottle of wine and some snacks and watch the sun as it fades away.

9. Go on a romantic date with all your favorite kinds of foods!
- Have someone take your picture to frame this memory forever

10. Plan the day
1. Start off with making heart shaped pancakes at home
2. Take a bubble bath and fill it with flower petals to give you the V-DAY vibes with some lighted candles
3. Help each other pick out a comfy outfit
4. Watch a romantic movie and drink some wine
5. Get ready (set a timer and whoever gets ready last buys dinner :p)
6. Go eat at your favorite restaurant or EVEN a new one
7. Pick your favorite desert place and play the question game!
8. Head back home for a massage and thank each other for all you've done
